CLASSIC GRUEN "WATCH SPECIALTIES" REEBURG EARLY ROLEX 14K
PIC 1 PIC 2 PIC 3 PIC 4 PIC 5
Here is a really unusual classic old watch. It's an early Gruen "Watch Specialties" which is a made before they were Rolex! A real piece of history in a very nice 14k solid yellow gold case, with its original band, and even the original little hallmarked 14k gold clasps for the band. These are very seldom seen, and especially not with the original band and clasps. Probably dates from 1905 to 1910. The case is original to the watch and very nice, no dings or scratches outside of normal wear. It has one small zip mark on side where someone gold tested it. It's hallmarked14k and stamped "Gruen 14k Cincinnati 120 and 1/2" along with serial number. The movement is stamped "Watch Specialties Co. 15 jewels Swiss 3 adj." Runs great and keeps good time. The dial is double sunk and very aged, but not to the point of needing redone. The glass crystal is in good shape too. The clasps are very nice and the end pieces are exceptional but the probably original band is so worn it wants to tear with any pressure. The two hallmarked original clasps are there, but you'll want to tuck the original band away in your box for history, and I'll send you a newer string style if you wish to wear it. I've seen this watch in silver at watch shows going for near this price, so I know this 14k gold is a bargain classic here for an early Rolex related vintage timepiece. A condition overall. $1150
12 New Men's Leather Wristwatch Bands
PIC 1
Here's a great batch of brand new budget priced, yet good quality, men's leather watch bands. A great balanced mix of black and brown padded leather, and gold tone and steel buckles. No color bands or kid sizes. More 18mm, with 16mm and 20mm too. Band itself is not less than 7 and 1/2 inches. Don't confuse them for Hirsch bands at this low price, but everybody so far has loved them and especially the price. Sold as a batch, not going to do custom size orders. Also available as black only bands or 18-20mm only. Just ask. $20 (per batch) plus $3.30 for USPS Insured Mail (USA only, overseas costs more).
Send me your email and let's get you a great classic vintage watch. I've been doing great business in watch restoration for nearly two decades. making people very happy.
Check out all the other pages of watches (with links above) and email or we can talk on phone if you're serious. (No credit cards transactions, we're a small company and there is far too much fraud out there. If there was enough interest we may go back to accepting Paypal. Cashiers Checks, Wire Transfers, Postal Money Orders, and probably Personal Checks as well as regular money orders are accepted. No credit cards will be accepted from Overseas due to rampant fraud and chargeback abuse. On line sales, yet older more physical way of transaction, thanks.
